Uniform legal basis
The Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (JMStV) created a uniform legal basis for the protection of minors in electronic media (e.g. Internet, television, radio). The aim of the Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media is the uniform protection of children and young people from content in electronic information and communication media that impairs or endangers their development or education, as well as protection from content in electronic information and communication media that violates human dignity or other legal interests protected by the Criminal Code.
